At Home Workouts With Senita Athletics
Hey friends, Happy Monday! I teamed up with Senita Athletics to share a few easy workouts you can do at home with your little ones. I do usually go to the gym and drop the girls off but I know that isn't an option for everyone and wanted to share something simple you can do every day and you can even get your kiddos involved.
Okay, so you're probably already in stretchy pants, so might as well get your sweat on. The key for these workouts is to engage your core the entire time, I gave suggested sets but usually, I push until muscle failure and take a stretch in between. It was a little hard for me to focus while doing these and taking photos, so my form isn't amazing but you can do it!
Push-ups: 3 sets of 10 simple and easy, make sure your butt isn't too high (mines a little high) or low and engage your abbs. Extra points if your babe wants a ride and make sure to show off your muscles afterward.
Hip Thrusts. These are my favorite because you can really activate your glutes. Once at the top make sure you're really squeezing your bootay and then, try switching off from your right side to your left and thrust higher. I usually do this until muscle failure. The results are pretty amazing if you really push yourself.
Squats: 3 Sets of 15. Make sure your weight is on your heels, not your toes. Try switching kiddos for different weights.
Russian Twists: 3 sets of 10-15. These ones take some focus while holding a babe. Try leaning farther back with each set and really focus on your core.
Then its time for a nice long stretch and maybe for you to nurse your sweet babe and let your toddler run around in circles!
I'm wearing the Senita Athletics Speed Feed Nursing Bra in Black, The Tulip Tee in Black (easy to nurse in) and the Trifecta Pants. I've fallen in love with this brand because It's functional and affordable!! I pretty much want all their bottoms and crop tops!
